Rob Ashton
Rob is a freelance software consultant from the UK, but currently operating in Belgium. He is passionate about good design and continuous improvement, and when not exhausted from working hard for his clients, can be found contributing to various open source projects with the overall goal of making them easier to use.
Rob can regularly be found doing talks on these things, often as a result of being bribed with coffee or food to do so.
Modelling documents for data access
We'll talk about various patterns for controlling data access with RavenDB from C#, and go through a series of hints and tops on how to actually model these documents for access, focusing on balancing the needs of a transactional system on top of the query needs for the system. During this session we'll come to an understanding of why RavenDB is a natural fit for CQRS and some good practises around that.
